happy mother's day mummy...

its been 2 yrs mummy... how have you been?

are you happy spending time with god and with papa up there? are they treating you good? do u get to enjoy ur mother's day meal up there?

you know, i opened shop today, and saw families walking past. most of my customers came with their mums looking for clothes for them. i saw that sight and realised that i really miss celebrating mother's day with you, treating you to a meal you'll like, giving you something to let u knoe i haven't forgotten.

i remember that we celebrated our last mother's day in Westin's equinox restaurant. We hated the food, but just wanted to re-experience the view from high above.

u knoe mie... i really loved you alot. even more so now... i miss ur cooking, ur nagging, just basically your presence in the house. i miss the screaming matches we used to have, the fights with hangers which takes place right after a bad quarrel. the tv surfing we used to do together and the crazy shopping sprees which we seldom ever take. most of all, i miss home exactly how u left it.

i'm sorry mummy for not spending enough time with you when i was younger, not listening to you when you could still be there, not heeding ur advice when u were so concerned for my well being. you always told me ' wait till i die and no one will take care of you then u knoe!' i remember that all so vividly mummy... i miss u soooo much.

when will we meet again?

Polling Day

its freaking polling day. been hearing rallies from http://singaporeelection.blogspot.com , http://electionrally.blogspot.com and http://www.yawningbread.org (though i wasn't personally there). Worker's Party; or WP in short sounds convincing enough. Definitely sounds better than PAP, not for wat they are dangling, but for wat they can do. Voices in Parliament, i definitely want that man. Haha. Excited, excited. I wanna see who will win. Damnit, though i know its near impossible, i hope WP wins the Amk seat... hahaha... i wanna see LHL's face screw up. Damn u arrogant face! Oh, and Aljunied GRC, WP better win, else i will faint.

Kind of hate the way PAP is playing politics and trying all ways and means to get voters to vote for them. Dangling a huge carrot for the hougang GRC and putting down opposition saying that they've no funds to dangle. WTF, wat are taxpayers paying their money for man? So next time, only PAP supporters pay tax can liao la! Opposition supporters wat for pay? Pay also no upgrading, don't pay la. Shit man. Wtf, first you have a case of under 21s not treated like Singaporeans, then now we have selective upgrading for PAP GRCs only cause PAP was voted in at those GRCs. Blardy unfair.

Fark, if i could blardy vote, PAP definitely will not be getting my vote. Shit holes.

21st birthday

more than a week ago on april 10th, i celebrated my 21st birthday. it was memorable; and not for the wrong reasons.

Itinery for the day-

part one ::
spent time with family at Amara Hotel @ Tanjong Pagar; had buffet lunch.

everyone who had kids brought their kids! I also want kids! i wan i wan! so cute... Praise Jie brought along lil naughty timmy boy and baby erika... timmy was soo cute walking alongside Joel pointing to things which he wants to eat, at the same time shaking his head and saying nono when he sees something he doesn't like. Erika had such HUGE eyes... i wan i wan... Kee Meng and Sheena brought along their new bundle of joy... Baby Elouise. A small cute lil thing. (will get her pics up soon.)

after lunch, it was meeting up with my beautiful girlfriends :)

part two::
dinner @ NYDC Cafe (heerens)
Chill out @ Altivo Bar (mount faber)

met up with the girls and updated each other on our daily life. its been awhile since we last met. A better word would be ages. or even centuries ( ok, nt tht long.. but still, u get what i mean). Met up with angi and sammie girl at orchard, followed by peilin and jingyi lateron in the night. Oh, and Jy's bf - Yuhao (or Mr Oyster) came along too. Meiling... was... as usual. MISSING IN ACTION again. for the second year. But wells, i have my beautiful girls and they're more than enough.

wei joined us after her shift ended at 11pm...

it was a terrifying drive up Mount faber. No, it wasn't fear of heights which got me terrified. it wasn't that i cant control my car that i was terrified. it was the fact tht my petrol tank was blinking empty which terrified the hell out of me. i have no one to blame. i was lazy. lazy to u-turn and head to a petrol station before climbing up the 'mountain' with a carload of girls. Lesson learnt.

Altivo bar is more than what i ever imagined. the plush lounge chairs, the beautiful night scenery, the helpful staff and of course not forgetting the wonderful company i have is something i more than bargained for. Everything just seems so puurfect~ the drinks looked delicious enough to eat, the cake... it was simply splendid, for lack of a better word.

presents i received are tastefully chosen. it was all a huge surprise. i love it~! haha... :)

all in all, the night was well spent with good people and nice food with nice view. love everything. love. love. love.

will leave whatever's unsaid to the peektures. they tell more than a thousand words.
